On May 31, 2023, Taylor Swift released a new single, "Karma." The song explores the powerful concept that what goes around comes around.

We are BIG Swift fans in this household! I absolutely LOVED the song Karma when I first heard it and I wanted to create a project dedicated to it.

Why did I choose a zippo? It correlated to her Midnights album cover and was in reference to these specific lyrics from the song:

I have been working on this project on and off the last month or so, probably when the song released. Once I saw the music video featuring Ice Spice, my jaw dropped! the color palette was pretty close to what I was working with and what I envisioned.

For the lighting, I wanted to test out the space HDRI’s from Greyscale Gorilla and match her “Lavender Haze” color palette which ironically matched the Karma music video in this scene below.
