LA Riots: A look back 30 years later

I was tasked with creating a graphic for a segment on Fox News L.A. covering the historic LA Riots. My objective was to visually depict the intensity and significance of this event by utilizing real images, videos, and newspaper headlines from that period.

I procured video footage from archival sources to introduce a dynamic visual component to the graphic. The inclusion of clips showing the riots, witness interviews, and news broadcasts from that era added layers of depth and authenticity to the segment, effectively immersing viewers in the historical context.

To enrich the visuals further, I incorporated newspaper headlines from reputable publications that reported on the LA Riots. These bold headlines, filled with mentions of violence, racial tensions, and societal upheaval, provided a snapshot of how the media portrayed the unfolding events.

By blending real images, videos, and newspaper headlines, I crafted a graphic piece that not only educated but also captivated viewers, offering them a window into a pivotal moment in American history that continues to hold significance to this day.
